Departing annually in May/June, this spectacular luxury train tour makes its way from Pretoria through some of South Africa's most breathtaking panoramas.
From the highveld grasslands at Malelane, through Swaziland, and on to the rolling hills of KwaZulu Natal, this Rovos luxury train tour offers spectacular game viewing, including a visit to the Addo Elephant Park near Port Elizabeth.
Visit an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn, before stopping by Knysna and travelling along the magnificent Garden Route. An informative tour of a Brandy distillery precedes your arrival in the Mother City, Cape Town.

Day 1: Begin Your Rovos Rail Journey
Departing from Pretoria's Capital Park station, the Rovos luxury train makes its way east to Malelane.
Day 2: A Kruger Park Game Drive
You will be awoken early for a game drive in the world-class Kruger National Park. View the amazing wildlife from open vehicles.
Brunch is served in the dining car as the luxury train makes its way to Swaziland through Komatiepoort. On arrival in Swaziland, at the Mkhaya Reserve, you will enjoy another spectacular game drive. The Rovos luxury train departs for the overnight journey to Hluhluwe in Zululand.
Day 3: See Game in Hluhluwe Game Reserve
Another early morning game drive awaits you, after which the luxury train will wind its way towards Durban.
You will arrive in Durban in the early evening, where you will have the evening at leisure to explore the city.
Day 4: Journey to Bloemfontein
Your luxury train tour continues as you depart Durban and head for Bloemfontein. Your day will be spent on board Rovos. You can while away the time in the Observation Car, watching the scenery as it glides past.
Day 5: Stroll Through this Historical City
Arrival in Bloemfontein is followed by a tour of this historical city, known by its residents as the 'City of Roses'. Depart Bloemfontein as the luxury train makes its way to Port Elizabeth.
Day 6: Encounter Elephants in Addo Elephant Park
Tour the Magnificent Addo Elephant National Park, which protects 5 of South Africa's 7 biomes. A midday departure sees you journeying on towards Oudtshoorn.
Day 7: Visit to an Ostrich Farm
Visit an Ostrich Farm in Oudtshoorn, in the Klein Karoo, before the steam train sets off for the coastal town of George.
On arrival in George, the centre of the Garden Route, you will have the afternoon at leisure to explore the sights. Dinner will be enjoyed at the Fancourt Golf Estate.
Day 8: Take a Tour Through Knysna
After a morning tour of this idyllic town, set off once again on Rovos, this time for Cape Town.
Day 9: Visit a Brandy Distlllery in Worcester
On route to Cape Town, the Rovos luxury train will stop in Worcester where you will visit the KWV Brandy Distillery for a tour.
Your luxury tour reaches Cape Town, the Mother City, in the early evening.
