A 5-day, 4-night self drive tour of Cape Town and the Winelands.
A comprehensive self drive tour of vibrant Cape Town and South Africa's wine country including the City, Table Mountain, Cape Point, Paarl, Stellenbosch - and much more to enjoy at your leisure!
Day 1: Cape Town, South Africa After your transfer from Cape Town International Airport to your hotel, spend the afternoon at your leisure.
Alternative Accommodation:
- Cape Grace
- Kensington Place
- Les Cascades de Bantry Bay
- Primi Royal
- Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront
- Romney Park Luxury Suites

Day 2: Cape Town, South Africa Your car will be delivered to your doorstep 1st thing in the morning. We suggest you start your day with a stroll around the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before travelling along the coast to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. If you're feeling energetic you can climb to the crest of the hill, alternatively, you can board the funicular to reach the top. After lunch (not included), why not visit one of the local penguin colonies? Then return to your hotel via Chapman's Peak, Hout Bay, with a short stop at the harbour, Sea Point and the City.
Please note: The drive via Chapman's Peak is subject to the road being open.
Day 3: Cape Town, South Africa A trip to the "Taal Monument" in Paarl before some wine tasting at a local wine farm is highly recommended for day 3. Passing through the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, you could head for a historic wine farm for some more wine tasting followed by lunch (not included) in Stellenbosch. After a tour through this historic town you can return to Cape Town to relax in your hotel.

Day 4: Cape Town, South Africa Today we suggest a trip up Table Mountain - if the wind is not blowing! We recommend the leisurely way up to the top using the cable car. It is a short ride and your knowledgeable guide will point out and explain the indigenous fauna and flora that you will see. We then suggest a tour of the city, including a visit to the SA Museum, the Malay Quarter and the harbour; and a stroll through the Castle and Greenmarket Square Fleamarket before driving through Sea Point back to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at your leisure.
