A relaxing 6-day stay in the Cape, offering superb wine tasting, cuisine & cultural opportunities.
Spend a few refreshing days in the Cape, at 2 prime hotels, with tours of the winelands and an opportunity to experience Cape Malay cuisine.
Day 1: Admire the Views of Lion's Head You arrive at the O on Kloof Guest House, where you'll spend the next 3 nights. Situated in Bantry Bay, on the slopes of Signal Hill, this modern boutique hotel boasts spectacular views.
The hotel is located a short walk away from Camps Bay and Clifton beaches, with Table Mountain and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront also close by.
Accommodation included in tour cost:
- O on Kloof Boutique Hotel
Day 2: Spoilt for Choice in the Cape After a decadent breakfast on the hotel patio, you depart on your private full-day Winelands tour.
Spend the day exploring the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek areas and the many wine estates found here.
The O on Kloof's central location lends itself to seemingly endless dining possibilities. We recommend Wakami for their spring rolls and sushi, Paranga for a cosmopolitan vibe on the Camps Bay strip and the Green Dolphin for good solid food and jazz.

Day 3: Learn to Cook, Cape Malay Style This morning you make your way to the steep, cobbled streets of the Bo-Kaap for a guided walking tour through the historical heart of this picturesque area.
The Cape Malay Cooking Experience includes a photo exhibition at the Bo-Kaap museum, but the undoubted highlight of this tour is being invited into a Cape Malay family home for a hands-on cooking demonstration.
You will discover recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation, while you learn to mix masala, fold samoosas and roll up rotis, before sitting back and digging in to a full course traditional meal.
You return to the hotel shortly after midday, leaving the remainder of the afternoon open for a visit to the beach or further exploration of all that Cape Town has to offer.

Days 4 - 6: Wining and Dining in Franschhoek Passing lush vineyards and rolling hills, you enter the peaceful Franschhoek valley and check in at Le Quartier Francais; your home for the next 2 nights.
Franschhoek is known as the gourmet capital of the Cape, with restaurants offering everything from delicious Cape country fare to sublime French cuisine, and this charming French-style boutique hotel is within walking distance of all the picturesque village has to offer.
On a neighbouring farm you can visit chef Neil Jewell's Bread and Wine, where you can enjoy tasty lunches and scenic views. Set in beautiful gardens with tastefully decorated rooms, there is no shortage of comfort and luxury at Le Quartier Francais, including a private cinema and 3 world-class restaurants.
Fine dining, shopping and wine tasting aside, Franschhoek offers a selection of stunning walking and hiking trails, as well as fantastic fly-fishing. The town has a rich cultural history too, with the impressive Huguenot Memorial and museum well worth a visit.
