The philosophy and vision of a real travellers' village was first realised in De Waterkant. The initial cottages were called Harbour View Cottages, Cape Town's First Guest Street, and has now become a village which has grown to over 40 participating properties.
De Waterkant is effectively a resort within a real, authentic "local" living area, aiming to offer you a distinctly Cape experience and true village hospitality. A centralised reception acts as a service centre which will allow you all the comforts of a hotel in your own home, and all properties are located within walking distance to top restaurants, shopping centres and other entertainment.
Leisure activities and facilities offered by De Waterkant Village include daily housekeeping, concierge desk, tourist information, swimming pool, laundry, dry-cleaning, valet, luggage storage, office facilities, babysitting and 24-hour security.
Children are welcome. |
